I recently graduated with an engineering degree in mathematics at the Czech Technical University. I am interested in opportunities at the intersection of mathematics, AI safety, operations and beyond.
I find joy in many things, including but not limited to
Four-day summer school under the ACS group on current questions in AI alignment research and the broader framings that shape them. I run the application and evaluation process, build and maintain automations, set up secure and accessible ways for the rest of the team to incorporate AI into their work, and handle participant communication and event operations.
Developed, deployed and administered a mid-sized web application with a participant and event database, competition IT systems, and several static websites supporting the group's events (see below).
Students' group at Charles University organizing several major annual events and international competitions in physics for high-school students. My main involvement:
Week-long camp for 40 selected participants combining physics lectures with team-building games and experiences. I owned the end-to-end organization of the camp of autumn 2022, doing project management and leading 20 other organizers.
International in-person physics competition in Prague, surrounded by several days of accompanying program with lectures, excursions and community-building activities. Participation grew from ~700 to ~1400 students in recent years, with 15–25 nationalities represented annually. I was one of the core project and operations managers in 2022–2025: contributing to scaling the event, developing and operating the underlying IT infrastructure, and managing communications and team support. I was the Head of Team Arrival in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
Online version of Fyziklani, with up to ~6,000 participants from ~70 countries. I took on communications and team support, and helped develop and operate the underlying IT infrastructure.
Led exercise sessions of the linear algebra course for classes of ~30 students.
One-week event for 150 high-school students aimed at popularizing physics through small-group projects, team-building games and lectures. I maintained the XML database and application process, handled communication with participants and tutors, and administered the event website on the server.
Two-week UK-based international camp for ~25 selected students focused on AI and applied rationality.
Tiny local app I built for myself with Claude and made it public. I am a good listener but not such a good rememberer.
Annual two-week summer camp of Charles University for 90 elementary-school children focused on science education. I designed and led physics programs and scientific mini-projects for the participants.
Supervised a group of 3 high-school students on a project on the Calkin–Wilf tree.
